***The test scheduled for Thursday (7th grade) is going to be on Friday due to lack of preparation of the 7th period, 7th grade class.

and contrast kinds of flowers for

We are studying nutrition and the food guide
pyramid.
****Bring a large poster board by Friday for
food guide pyramid
****Write down foods eaten each day

100 pt. grade
****Test Thursday on vocabulary words and

8th grade--
Test Friday on Nutrition charts

Due to the activity schedule on Thursday, Foods Lab will be on Wednesday rather than Thursday.

-Study recipe and know procedure
(We will prepare on Wednesday, be sure you
know what to do and ask questions then)
-Remember to bring written excuse if absent

8th grade--Chapter 37-Nutrients
-Test Friday (study terms, questions, and
printed study guide)

PROGRESS REPORTS
Due to foods lab, 7th and 8th grade progress reports will be sent home on Friday.

***Study guide will include all test material.
***Vocabulary words and listing of composting material will be on the test.
***We will begin collecting compost material next

7th grade-Foods Lab Thursday-equivilent to 100 pt. test grade. Make sure all absences are excused!!
****Lab cannot be made up. Written test replaces lab grade.
****Study recipe (recipe will be posted in lab, but you need to know the ingredients and the steps in order to save time)
****Know your responsibility before you leave class on Wednesday.



8th grade-Test Friday on Safety and Sanitation.
