***Notes should be in binder


7th grade--Table manners and etiquette test on Friday
Study guide is the quiz that we reviewed in
class


8th grade--Foods lab Thursday--Bread Pudding
(Remember, an unexcused absence results in a
O "F" until written test is taken to
replace grade)
***Conduct determines who will participate
in lab and who will get a written grade

lab--the grade will be based on written
work.

-Bring Canned Foods this week!!! (We only
have two)
-This is Red Ribbon Week
Mon.-Get red ribbon (wear it everday)
Tues.-Wear red
Wed.-"Team up against drugs" dress like a
friend to show team work
Fri.-"Suit up against drugs" wear your
favorite team shirt

6th grade--
Food Guide Pyramid project due Tuesday
(all work done in class)
Go to Computer lab Thursday to compare
and contrast kinds of flowers for
garden project

7th grade--
NO foods lab this week
We are studying nutrition and the food guide
pyramid.
****Bring a large poster board by Friday for
food guide pyramid
****Write down foods eaten each day

Grades--Daily food guide pyramid and poster will total
100 pt. grade
****Test Thursday on vocabulary words and
notes in binder 100 pt. grade

8th grade--
Test Friday on Nutrition charts
(notes in binder)

OUR CLASSES ARE IN NEED OF OLD MAGAZINES THAT CAN BE USED FOR CLASS PROJECTS (FOODS, HOMES, GARDENS, CHILD CARE, MONEY, ETC.)

HOMEROOM--Don't forget....
-bring items for Operation Christmas Child
-bring canned foods for Canned Food Drive

6th grade--Food Guide Pyramid
-Compare and Contrast old vs. new
-Write down all foods eaten beginning Monday
-Turn in all worksheets for grade

7th grade--Foods Lab Thursday (Chocolate Chip Cookies)
-Study recipe and know procedure
(We will prepare on Wednesday, be sure you
know what to do and ask questions then)
-Remember to bring written excuse if absent

8th grade--Chapter 37-Nutrients
-Test Friday (study terms, questions, and
printed study guide)

***Study guide will include all test material.
***Vocabulary words and listing of composting material will be on the test.
***We will begin collecting compost material next
week.


7th grade--Foods lab Thursday. Cupa-Cupa Egg Cookies

***Study recipe and know responsibilities.
(Remember-Foods lab cannot be made up, make
sure you have an excused absence if

8th grade--Test Friday on Cooking Terms
***Study terms on study guide

6th grade-Character Counts test Wednesday
****Responsibility, Respect, Fairness, Trustworthiness, Caring, Citizenship
--Be able to match characteristic to correct pillar.




7th grade-Foods Lab Thursday-equivilent to 100 pt. test grade. Make sure all absences are excused!!
****Lab cannot be made up. Written test replaces lab grade.
****Study recipe (recipe will be posted in lab, but you need to know the ingredients and the steps in order to save time)
****Know your responsibility before you leave class on Wednesday.



8th grade-Test Friday on Safety and Sanitation.
****Study notes in binder.
****Be able to match rules to the prevention of the accident/ injury.
