For the week of Oct.24-28:

*We will continue studying Ancient Egypt this week.
There will be no major tests this week. We will
do two activities this week for a grade. Some
students may have to finish them at home.

*Homework on Monday- finish defining vocab. words
for lesson 2

For the week of Oct.17-21:
*We will begin studying Chapter 3 this week.
Some students will have to finish defining
new vocabulary words for homework if they
do not finish in class.
*No major tests this week. We will do a map
activity for a grade.

For the week of Oct.10-14:

*Progress reports go home on Thursday!

*Test Wednesday on Daily Geog. weeks 5-8

*Test Friday on Chapter 2. We will do a
review sheet on Tuesday & Wednesday for
homework.

For the week of Oct.3-7:
*We will continue studying Chapter 2 this week.
There will only be a map test this week.
Next week we will have a Chapter 2 vocabulary test
and a chapter test.
*Students need to get permission slip signed by
parent to watch the "Prince of Egypt" on Friday.
We are currently studying the Israelites and will
study Egypt next chapter, which are both in the
video.
*Homework on Tues.-Wed. will be completing an
activity begun in class about Mesopotamian culture.

For the week of Sept.27-30:
*Map activity on Tuesday for a grade.
*Test Wednesday on Chapter 2 lesson 1
vocabulary.
*No homework this week other than studying
for the test!

For the week of Sept.19-23:

*TWO TESTS THIS WEEK!!!
*The 6-week grading period ends this Thursday.
*Test Tuesday on Chapter 1. Use review sheet,
book, and notes to study.
*Test Wednesday on Daily Geography (weeks 1-4).
Use Daiy Geog. workbook to study.
*We will begin studying Chapter 2 this week.
We will define vocabulary and read lesson 1
in class.

FRIDAY'S TEST HAS BEEN CHANGED TO TUESDAY!

For the week of Sept.12-16:
*This week we will be finishing Chapter 1.
*There will be a vocabulary test on Wednesday.
Students need to study vocabulary from their
binders.
*There will be a chapter test on Friday.
Students may study their notes from class
and reread the chapter to study.
*The advanced class will have an activity to
finish outside of class beginning on Wed.

For the week of Sept.6-9:
*This week we will be studying
Chapter 1(lessons 1&2) in the textbook.
*We will do a journal activity for a grade
in class on Tuesday-- some students may
have to finish it for homework.
*We will have a map activity for a grade
on Wednesday.
*There will be no major tests this week.
We will have a Ch.1 Vocab. test next week.
*Progress reports go out on Thursday-- be
sure you sign and return them on Friday!

For the week of Aug.29-Sept.2:

*This week we will begin Chapter 1 in the textbook.
We will be doing an activity for a grade about
early man's cave art. Some students will need to
finish it outside of class for homework.
*Grades for the week will include the latitude/
longitude test on Monday and a daily grade on the
activity.
