*7th grade parents: Please encourage your child to keep up with the study guides. Many students are losing them and I am having to run off extra copies which cuts into my paper supply for necessary use.

Tuesday-Thursday: discuss Chapter 9 on the hiers of the Roman Empire and the Persians; students will work in class on assignment covering this chapter
Friday: open-book test on Chapter 9


7th Grade:
Tuesday: complete video quiz on the Late 20th Century
Wednesday: take up World History books; introduce American History and discuss what will be covered during the rest of the year
Thursday: begin discussion of Chap. 5 explaining the events that led up to the American Revolution
Friday: Daily Geography quiz; continue discussion of Chap. 5

January 10-13
6th Grade:
Monday: discuss/correct study guide Lesson 4 of Chap. 8
Tuesday: handout on world religions (complete in class)

7th Grade:
Monday-Wednesday: work on handout material covering the rise of Hitler to power in Germany and the Holocaust
Thursday: video quiz on the Late 20th Century covering World War II, the Cold War, and the Vietnam War

*Tuesday: GHMS Geography Bee; any parents whose son/daughter is participating is welcome to come and watch in the cafeteria
