Students and Teachers: Please help Good Hope Middle School to do our part in helping with those in need from Hurricane Katrina. Please donate any cat or dog canned food to your homeroom or to Coach Young. This food will help all stray animals and those animals being housed in the shelters.

OPSS is Collecting for Victims of Katrina Bring Items by Sept. 1
According to the Local Red Cross Office, these items are needed: Bottled Water, Canned Soda, Toiletries ( toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, etc.), Diapers, Wipes, Snacks (individually wrapped).Each of the Ouachita Parish school sites will collect items desperately needed for relief efforts. These items will be delivered to our local Red Cross office for distribution among evacuees fleeing to our parish, and be sent to those parishes hardest hit in the southern area of our state.

School Pictures will be taken on Thursday September 8th during P.E. classes. These are pre-pay pictures. Everyone must take a picture.

ATTENTION GIRLS:
Fall Ball Registration - Biedenharn Sports Complex (Blue Building) - Girls Softball ages 7 to 18 - Registration Dates: Tues., Sept. 6th - 8.p.m. and Sat., Sept. 10th from 11 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Cost is $35.00 per child.

Thursday, Sept. 1st is the last day to order Good Hope T-Shirts.

Both cross country teams will practice Tuesday until 3:45.

6th grade girls basketball tryouts today from 3:00-5:00.

Cross Country tryouts will be Tomorrow, Wed., & Thursday. You must attend all three days. Come to the gym after school tomorrow. You can wear your P.E. clothes.

Girls Basketball Tryouts will be held Monday Aug. 19th thru Wednesday, Aug. 31st for 6th Grade Girls.
7th & 8th grade girls will tryout Thursday September, 1st and Friday September 2nd. Tryouts will be held from 3:00 - 5:00. You must wear your P.E. uniform.. Sign up in your P.E. class.

Attention all GHMS Pep Squad Members:

* Be at the school Monday night to load the bus at 5:15 p.m. for the Ouachita Game.
* Wear your uniform, white tennis shoes, bow, and bring your pom poms in the red bag. Please bring a water bottle, also.
* Parents are to pick you up at 8:00 p.m. at Good Hope! If there are any questions see Mrs. Sellar in room #107.
