NOTE: Chapters 11 and 12 will be tested together next week!. Yes we are moving fast and will be as LEAP testing is only 10 weeks away. IT is very important that 8th graders be in school every day!!

Study for tomorrow's "mid-term" Chapter 10 test covering sections 1,2, and 3 of ch. 10.

No homework for the rest of the week!Study for the rest of your mid-terms.

Monday Dec. 1st
1.Civics Booklets are due tommorrow
2. Study for tomorrows test on 16 vocabulary words.
3. Honors class will test on vocabulary plus
concepts we reviewed in class.

We will begin chapter 9 Tuesday.
We will read and complete guided reading questions on Chapter 9 for the rest of the week.
A Daily review of class lessons will help you be successful on MONDAYS (Dec. 8th) Test on Chapter 9.

Homework for this week is to complete your social studies fair project for Thursdays fair.

1. Chapter 7 test is Thursday Nov. 13th...Begin
reviewing now!

2. Sketch of your display board is due
Wednesday Nov.12th. Remember if you are in a
group then everyones sketch should look alike.

The 8th grade Social Studies Fair is Thursday Nov. 20th.
Set up for the fair will be Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning. More details will be given out in class.

Wednesday Oct. 29th finish handouts on the Declaration of Independence

Attention: 20 students HAVE NOT turned in their rough drafts of their Social Studies Fair Report. They were due Oct. 16th BE RESPONSIBLE AND DO YOUR WORK.

Finish handouts on the French and Indian War. They include "Albany Plan of Uion", Timeline of the War, and Map of before and after the war.

Tuesday-Friday
Review guided reading questions for test on chapter 5 on Tuesday Oct. 28th.
