For the week of March 7-11:

*No homework this week.

*We will have a test on the government booklet
we have been studying. Students will be allowed
to use their booklet for the test.

*Make sure that you are prepared for Iowa testing
next week.

*Ooops! Report cards go home on Monday, March 7.

For the week of Feb.28- March 4:

*Greece/ Rome assignments were due last Friday.
Students need to make sure they are turned in
right away. Points will be deducted for each
day they are late.

*Daily Geography test on Friday (weeks 21-24).

*Report cards go home on Friday.

For the week of Feb.22-25:

*Homework- students need to complete Greece/Rome
drawing and turn in by Friday
*We will be working in an economics booklet over the
next week. We will have an open booklet test when
we finish.

For the week of Feb. 14-18:

*Many students still have not turned in
their Ancient China activity. It is points
off every day that it is late.

*No major tests this week-- only daily grades.

*We will be working on an Ancient Greece and
Rome project in class this week. Students
that don't finish it in class will need to
finish it for homework.

For the week of Feb.7-11:

*All China culture drawings should be
turned in by Tuesday.

*No major tests this week-- just daily
grades.

*Students need to make sure they are
up-to-date on Daily Social Studies
questions.

For the week of Jan.31- Feb.4:

*Map test this week.

*Daily Geog. test this Friday on
weeks 17-20.

*We will be doing an alternative
assessment activity this week for
a grade. We will work on this in
class, but some students may have
to complete it at home.

For the week of Jan.24-28:

*Report cards and newsletters go home today.

*Chap.5 Vocabulary test on Friday

*Homework- finish any vocab. not done in class

*Several activities will be done in class this
week for a grade.

For the week of Jan.18-21:

*We will work several maps in class
this week for a grade. It will be for
homework if not completed in class.

*Students need to keep up with their
Daily Social Studies and be prepared
for a pop-quiz!

*Report cards go home next Monday.

*Students should complete any missing
vocabulary for Chap.3 by Wednesday.
*There will be an open-notebook test
on Wed.
*We will be doing several maps for a
grade this week during class.
*Don't forget that Friday is an inservice
day for teachers-- students don't come
to school Friday or Monday!
