NEW UNIT: KICKBALL

We will be going outside for the next unit. It is going to be hot so be prepared!

Monday: Introduce softball field; introduce kickball equipment; Practice kicking the kickball

Tuesday: Drills for pitching and kicking

Wednesday: Go over rules of kickball; Practice game

Thursday/Friday: Play kickball

Thought for the week: "Laugh at yourself, before anyone else can."

On Friday we will continue to work on the serve, forearm pass and the set (overhead pass).

Remember to turn in your progress reports and TEST paper!!!! I need those two things ASAP!!! You know what will happen if you don't......

Next week's schedule:

Monday: Introduce the spike with Nets and Volleyballs

Tuesday: Introduce the block with Nets and Volleyballs; Review of ALL SKILLS!!

Wednesday: Go over the rules; Practice game

Thursday: Play the game

Friday: 1/2 day substitute so this day will be depending on the weather. If it is sunny, we will go outside to walk. If it is rainy, we will stay inside for games (cards, checkers, etc.)

We will pick back up with playing Volleyball on Monday, September 20th.

The Volleyball test is scheduled for September 24th. You will receive a study guide on September 20th.

ALL CLASSES- Test on Friday!!!

Anyone who needs to make up a fitness test can make it up on Thursday at the beginning of class!!!!

Don't forget...NO SCHOOL MONDAY!! LABOR DAY HOLIDAY!

Enjoy your 3 day weekend.

Next unit up: Volleyball! We will be inside for this unit.
