The canned food drive begins today. This is a student council project to support the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana. A class officer will come each morning to all homerooms to collect the cans. Points will be given and the winning homeroom gets a pizza party. Points will be given as follows:
1 can = 1 pt.
50 cent donation = 1 pt.
Can drop-off points are: Sellar - 6th
Moody - 7th
Holzer - 8th
Please support this project.

No boys soccer practice today! Practice Tuesday after school.

Feathers for teachers will start tomorrow! Cheerleaders will be selling feathers for 25 cents during both lunch shifts. Buy feathers for your teacher's turkey. Don't leave any turkey bald.

A big thank you to the five brave souls who were in the dunking booth on Saturday - Mrs. Noel, Mrs. Tyson, Coach Gill, Ms. Cole, and Mrs. Dillingham.

The following students have been recognized for exhibiting good character by demonstrating the character counts pillar of caring.
6th grade - Jesse Butler for always being eager to help.
6th grade - Isaac Newman for sharing his turn in an activity with someone else.
7th grade - Kaleb Epinnette for being so polite and considerate and recently helped clean desks in Mrs. Harris's classroom.
7th grade - Kelsie Thornhill for helping another student with a class assignment.
8th grade - Damien Bice for passing out journals in Mrs. Bayles's class without being asked.
8th grade - Matthew Murphy for helping Mrs. Williams pick up papers off the floor while other chose to walk over them.
