Please come support our Lady Colonels today. We are playing at home against Riser. Game time is 4:00.

Congratulations to the Lady Colonels Softball Team on their victories over Calhoun Monday (3-2) and Tuesday (2-1). Make sure to support the team tomorrow when they play Riser at home and again Friday when they play Ouachita Jr. at home.
No practice today. Bring everything for the game tomorrow.

6th & 7th grade teachers - don't forget to turn in your teacher recommendation forms to Mrs. Moody by Friday.

We have received notification from ULM that 2 students from Good Hope have won awards for the Program Cover Deisgn Contest for the Regional Social Studies Fair. Josh Adams's design was a runner up and he will receive $50.00. The overall winner was 8th grader Emily Hemphill, whose design will be printed on the program cover. She will receive $100.00. Congratulations Josh and Emily.

REPORT CARDS GO HOME TOMORROW!!!!

Thanks to all of you who participated in the magazine drive to raise money for our library.

All girls trying out for cheerleader or drill team need to turn in their intent form, report card, and judges fee to Mrs. Moody no later than Friday!!

Spring pictures will be Thursday, March 4th during P.E. classes in the weight room. You do not need to bring money for these pictures. However, friendship pictures will be taken during lunch and it is $5.00 per person to take these pictures.

There will be a fan bus going to Hammond this Friday for the girls basketball state championship game. The cost of the bus ride is $25.00 and the ticket is $7.00. The bus will stop at a fast food restaurant in Hammond before the game. Seating is limited to the first 50. Please phone Mrs. Pennington in the school office at 323-3771. The bus will leave the stadium at 3:00 Friday. Let's all go and support our Lady Rebels in their quest for a state title in girls basketball.

The P.E. Staff would like to say a big "THANK YOU" to the students who raised money for the American Heart Association in our JUMP ROPE FOR HEART campaign. Sixty-seven students raised $1,675.00 to help fight heart disease. The cheerleaders and drill team were the single class that raised the most money. Miss Butler's P.E. classes raised the most money. They raised $708.00. Again, thank you for a job well done.

All first place winners in the Science Fair need to turn in Regional Science Entry forms to Mrs. Starr no later than Wednesday March 3rd.

Spring Pictures will be Thursday, March 4th during P.E. Classes in the weight room. You do not need to bring money for these pictures. However, friendship pictures will be taken during lunch and it is $5.00 per person to take these pictures.

Last days for Dixie Baseball and Softball Registration are Tuesday, March 2nd from 5:30 to 8:00p.m. and Saturday, March 6 from 9a.m. to 1p.m. for boys and girls ages 5 - 19 at Biedenharn Sports Complex, West Monroe. NO SOFTBALL PRACTICE TODAY!!!! COACH DILLINGHAM WILL LET YOU KNOW ABOUT THE GAME TOMORROW.

All girls who are trying out for 7th or 8th grade cheerleader or drill team here at Good Hope need to turn their letter of intent, report card and judges fee into Mrs. Moody no later than Friday!

Remember, all overdue library books must be turned in and all fines must be paid by this Thursday for you to receive your report card.

ATTENTION EIGHTH GRADERS
Next week we will have two afternoons of LEAP PRACTICE. Tuesday, March 9th, from 3:00 - 4:30 we will be doing Language Arts. Thursday afternoon will be Math. We would like all 8th graders to attend. Please return your slip or tell your teacher if you plan to attend.
