Good Hope Middle School Daily Announcements
Tuesday, 14 October 2003

Each six weeks we will be focusing on a different pillar of Character Counts. This six weeks our pillar is Caring. Each week staff members will be looking for children who demonstrate this trait. Our winners for last week are: Cody Knox for helping another student pick up her books and colored pencils that fell out of her locker. Amanda Newman for helping a special ed student with breakfast when they were short on teachers. She helped get food and helped get them back to class.
Rakieda Brothers for assisting the student next to her without being asked. Nathan Parr for being the quietest person on the bus.

8th grade boys basketball tryouts are October 22 from 3 - 5. Any 8th grade boy interested in trying out for basketball sign up during your P.E. hour and see Coach Brothers.

Pep squad does not have practice Wednesday - however you do have a game Thursday at Good Hope.

The Counseling Dept. is pleased to announce that our groups will start tomorrow. Teachers, each of you had a list of the groups in your box. Be sure to look over that list and highlight any students you teach and what period they will be attending group. Since the students do not know the name of their group, we are depending on you to help us get them to their first session. This year our group names are flavors of ice cream - so students you will find out tomorrow and Thursday when your group meets!!!
