Good Hope Middle School Daily Announcements

NO SOFTBALL PRACTICE TODAY!!!! COACH DILLINGHAM WILL LET YOU KNOW ABOUT THE GAME TOMORROW.

All girls who are trying out for 7th or 8th grade cheerleader or drill team here at Good Hope need to turn their letter of intent, report card and judges fee into Mrs. Moody no later than Friday!

Remember, all overdue library books must be turned in and all fines must be paid by this Thursday for you to receive your report card.

ATTENTION EIGHTH GRADERS
Next week we will have two afternoons of LEAP PRACTICE. Tuesday, March 9th, from 3:00 - 4:30 we will be doing Language Arts. Thursday afternoon will be Math. We would like all 8th graders to attend. Please return your slip or tell your teacher if you plan to attend.

8th grade girls interested in Cheerleading at the High School - All applications are due at the High School by Monday @ 3:00.

All 6th grade Pep Squad members - You rented your uniform. Therefore all 6th grade pep squad members must turn in uniforms. You will not be able to try out for cheerleader or drill team if your uniform is not turned in to Mrs. Dean. If you have not picked up a "Returning Uniform" letter please see Mrs. Moody or Mrs. Dean.

CONGRATULATIONS to the winners of the Good Hope Middle School Spelling Bee. They are:
1st place Champion - K.W. Daily 8th grade
2nd place - Emily Ballew 6th grade

K.W. will represent our school at the District
Spelling Bee in March. Good Luck at District!

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2004 Good Hope Middle School Golf Team. The members are:
Bradley Brown, Levi Howard, Jordan Sellar, Grant Shepard, Wesley Wheelis, Mario Wiley, Jacob Williams

1st year Pep Squad members must return uniforms. The uniforms are rented and property of Good Hope Middle School. Therefore, you must pick up a "Returning Uniform" letter from Mrs. Moody or Mrs. Dean.

Our character counts trait that staff members will be looking for in the fifth six weeks will be RESPECT. Respect is defined as being decent or correct in conduct; to consider worthy of high regard. Staff members - please be on the lookout for children that exhibit the character counts trait of respect.

Teachers - Grade Sheets are due back to the counselors by 8:00 a.m. this Thursday Feb. 26.

This will be the last week for the 8th grade after school tutoring program. Students, be sure to attend the last two sessions this week on Tuesday and Thursday.

Who's Who pictures are in. All Who's Who Students need to pick up their proofs from Ms. Sellar today. Picture money is due Friday.

You will receive a party invitation in your homeroom Tuesday Morning. STUDENTS, YOU MUST BRING YOUR INVITATION WITH YOU TO BE ADMITTED TO THE PIZZA PARTY. Students who are nominated for National Honor Society must turn in completed applications and citizenship paragraphs no later than Friday, Feb. 20th in order to be considered for membership. No late applications will be accepted.

Please come support our softball team today at 4:00. We play Westridge at Westridge.

Remember that tomorrow - Friday - is our last turn in day for magazine orders. Please support our library fund raiser by asking your family to renew or buy magazines from our school. You can earn some great prizes for yourself!
