11/15--We will continue taking a test on Lesson 5-1,5-2,5-3. Be sure your child knows the Rules of Divisibility. They have to write them on this test. Homework is a worksheet on fractions.

11/16--Lesson 5-4 and Lesson 5-5. The students who haven't finished tests hopefully will finish today. Homework will be a worksheet on equilvalent fractions, reducing fractions, and greatest common factor.

11/17--Lesson 5-6. The students will change improper fractions to mixed numbers and back again. Homework will be workbook page 66, do the odd problems.

11/18--Review of Lessons 5-4,5-5,5-6. The students will work on a review sheet for homework to get them ready for a test on Friday.

11/19--Test on Lesson 5-4,5-5,5-6.

11/15--Study the 11 vocabulary words for a test on Thursday. 11/18. Finish the drawings of the 3 cycles for a grade. You can use your textbook for this grade.

11/16--Study for the vocabulary test on Thursday and finish the drawings of the 3 cycles.

11/17--Study for vocabulary test on ll vocabulary words for test 11/18. Turn in drawings and labeling on the 3 natural cycles.

11/18--Test on vocabulary. Open book test on Ecosystems.

11/19--The students have worked on several workbook pages this week using their textbook. I will take these pages for a grade. You might have your child bring this home for you to look over before the grade is taken.

11/8--Lesson 5-2. The Students will learn how to find the Prime Factorization of a number by using Factor Ladders. Homework--Workbook Page 61. Do the even #'s, plus number 25. Study the Rules of Divisibility.


11/9--Lesson 5-3. The students will find the Least Common Multiple using Factor Ladders. Homework--Workbook -Page 62. Do the first column including the word problems.Study the Rules of Divisibility.

11/10--Review of Lesson 5-1, 5-2, 5-3. Students will begin a review worksheet in class on Wednesday. Finish this worksheet for homework and study, study, study!


11/11--Test on Lessons 5-1, 5-2, 5-3. We will begin this test and finish it on Friday, 11/12. Study the Rules of Divisibility.

11/12--Finish the test on Lessons 5-1,5-2,5-3. No Homework!!!

11/18--Boxes due to underprivileged children. Be sure to put $5 inside box for shipping.

11/1--Students will finish the test on Chapter 3. We will begin Lesson 9-1.

11/2--School is out for Election Day. Please get out and vote. It is your privilege.

11/3--Lesson 9-1 and try to begin Lesson 5-1.Students must be able to write the Rules of Divisibility. Homework will be a worksheet on the Rules of Divisibility.

11-4--We will continue with the Rules of Divisibility. We will begin on Lesson 5-2. Study the rules for a test.

11-5--Lesson 5-2 and begin Lesson 5-3. Study the rules of divisibility.

Science



11/1--We will finish up the Atmosphere /Weather/Climate.

11/2--Students are out for Election Day. Please get out and vote. It is our privilege.

11/3--11/5--We will begin our study of Ecosystems. Students will receive their new vocabulary words for this new chapter. Begin studying for a test next week.

Things to Remember:
Can Food Drive--Please send can foods so we can receive the Taco Bell Party.
