Making a Who's Who Book project
Students will compile a Who's Who in the American Revolution booklet. First list people-- European, American, African American, Native American, men and women-- to include in your booklet. Each student will prepare a biographical entry and their contributions during the American Revolution for each person. Each person you choose must have a biographical entry (one page typed in 12 font, Times Roman and double spaced or one and half pages handwritten single spaced). Each booklet must also contain at least five pictures or illustrations. Each booklet must contain at least five people with their biographical entry and contributions during the American Revolution. Each booklet must have a cover page with the title (Who's Who in the American Revolution), students name, grade, what period and date on the page. Each booklet must have a table of contents. Each booklet must have a bibliography. Project due date Friday, February 25.

What was Shay's Rebellion? What caused the Rebellion?
* 2,000 farmers took part in the uprising protesting the treatment of farmers
* Attacked the courthouses and prevented the state from seizing farms
* During the Revolution demand for farm goods were high, after it declined and farmers could not repay their loans
* Raised taxes and seized the farms that could not pay

* A period when business activity slows, prices and wages fall and unemployment rises
