Chapter 16 test-- Friday, March 11th

LEAP Testing-- Monday-Friday, March 14th - 18th

Rocket Building-- Monday, March 21st--- this a class project. All work will be done at school. Rocket kits can be purchased at Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Toys-R-Us, Michaels, or the new hobby shop by the bridge. Buy a kit that is the correct level for your child. No "Ready to Fly" rockets or "snap together" kits. Make sure that all extra materials are purchased that do not come with the kit (engine, wadding, igniter wire and plug). I will have sandpaper, glue, scissors, tape, and markers here at school. No exacto knives are to be brought to class. I will take them up if they are brought. I will provide an exacto knive and I will do the cutting when needed. If your child wants to spray paint their rocket, they can be brought home on Thursday, March 24th and brought back Tuesday, March 29th. Rockets will be launched on Tuesday, March 29th. I will be launching the rocket from the football stadium, allowing your child the opportunity to retrieve there rocket as it is descending back to Earth.

This is a project grade worth 100 points.
